Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Exara account and the data associated with it. It applies to the Exara mobile app (com.deniz.exara) on iOS and Android.
Option 1 — Delete directly in the app (recommended)
The fastest way to permanently delete your account and data:
- Open the Exara app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Open your account and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and associated data are deleted immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, send a deletion request from the email address linked to your Exara account to:
Subject: Account Deletion. We will verify ownership and delete your account within 30 days.
What data is deleted
- Your account (authentication record) and profile (display name, email, bio, photo)
- Your saved breathing & meditation session history
- Techniques you created or shared with the community, and your comments and likes
- Your push notification (FCM) token
What may be retained
Aggregated and anonymized analytics and crash diagnostics that are no longer linked to your identity may be retained. We may also retain limited records where required to comply with legal obligations. These cannot be used to re-identify you.
